Jerome's looks speak for themselves, as he is truly stunningly beautiful; I don't know how I got so lucky to have had the forethought to place pre-birth deposit. However, his personality is his winning aspect. I've read how F2s are aloof and don't want to be held or sit on your lap, don't like strangers, bond with one human, etc. Well, Jerome didn't read those articles! He's is VERY affectionate, purrs very loudly, head buts, rubs, kisses with his extremely sharp tongue, loves to be held and carried, sleeps on our laps on sofa, and sleeps with our German Sheperd on her dog bed!! Which brings me to other animals. We have 4 cats and 2 are old tabbies who don't like our Siamese and hate the dog. Jerome is fearless---- NOT AGRESSIVE, fearless. He plays a lot, with the dog (gotta give her credit for being an outstanding dog), loves to play with toys, and doesn't mind giving chase to a hissing tabby cat. If my male Siamese were a few years younger they would make quite a duo. We kept Jerome in his own room for first 10 days (contract says 2 wks but he wanted out) and allowed the dog to go in with me to play and at feeding. She was on her best behavior and did "sit/stay" while in there. While I was gone, my husband simply opened the door and he's been out and about ever since.
He is not more shy of stranges than any of my other cats, not as friendly as one of them, and my cat-loving friends are enthralled with him. He is a very sweet and loving guy. As a kitten we want to keep him well socilaized and encourage people to touch and fuss over him.
He loves water! He will literally sit in the kitchen sink and wait for water to come from the faucet... and if he gets wet when the tap is on, even better!!
I'm feeding him balanced raw chicken nuggets, and Wellness CORE, and he keeps sneaking into the Science Diet that my other cats eat. I discourage him from eating it and feed him elsewhere. He also likes canned food. To be honest, he is often too busy, or too distracted to eat right away. He needs attention and affection and will choose those over food.

Hi Jennifer,

I just wanted to say thank you for making my dreams come true! I finally found my dream savannah:) Apollo was so beautiful from the moment I laid eyes on him. You were always available every step of the way to answer my numerous questions and was always very helpful. Your cats are so beautiful and healthy which is very important to me since I am a vet tech. Apollo is so sweet and getting much sweeter if thats possible, I love how he growls but the moment you touch him or pick him up he turns his motor on and starts purring away, he nuzzles and head butts us and is such a lover. He is so beautiful pictures do not do him justice, You have done a great job in improving the Savannah standard and you can truly see it in your kittens. You worked with me every step of the way and I thank you! Apollo is amazing in his jumping even now as a kitten I cant wait to see what heights he will venture to as an adult, I cant thank you enough!! I am now in line for my next savannah a f2!!!:)

Hi Jennifer,

Ferris is the most amazing boy and he is more than we ever could have hoped for. He is the sweetest, he can be so clumsy sometimes he so cute. He loves to have his belly rubbed before bed and he kisses us all the time. His passion for toes has no bounds! The good news is that he ate most of his canned food today and a little of his dry food as well. He does love the raw chicken the best though and he can be quite demanding for it. His little growl when he plays is adorable,he is so serious when he gets his toys he keeps us laughing all the time. He is adjusting so well to his new home, he impresses me everyday with his sweet gentleness in everything he does. You have done an excellent job raising him for us and we will always be thankful to you for him. The time and care you've put into your love for SV's shines in Ferris everyday. I could go on and on about him but you know how special he is and always will be. When I can catch him still or sleeping I'll send you some pics of him. I gave him hugs and kisses for you.

Hi Jennifer,

I just wanted to send you a note to tell you what an absolute love this kitten is.  Thank-you for this wonderful kitten.  We decided to name him Aslan.  He looks like a little lion.  I wanted to send you a few photos to show you how well he's doing.  He is the sweetest and most confident cat I have ever owned.  As you can see from the photo's my female Savannah loves him and he appears to be pretty happy with her too.  They do get extremely wild together and run through the house, jump up on everything and knock everything over. Welcome to the world of the Savannah. One alone is playful, but not near as wild as two together.

Hi Jennifer,

Thank-you again for this absolutely wonderful cat.  He has the best personality and gets more handsome the older he gets.  We are considering changing his name to Elvis- He has all the moves, he's a lover and he loves to sing.  The kids are pretty stuck on Aslan , but I think Elvis fits him much better.  We'll let you know.
